Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales and Business Development to join our team. This role is critical in driving our sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities, and helping Unibo expand its iGaming presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the iGaming industry, a passion for technology-driven solutions, and a proven track record of generating and qualifying leads and turning them into sales.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive lead generation and market expansion.
- Identify, research, and engage with potential clients in the iGaming industry.
- Manage outbound prospecting through various channels, including email, LinkedIn, calls, and industry events.
- Qualify leads and set up meetings
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to optimize outreach campaigns and messaging.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Craft and Improve Sales and Marketing materials
- Work together with existing platform partners to drive sales and leads
- Attend and represent Unibo at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or a related role, in iGaming.
- Strong understanding of iGaming platforms, retention strategies, and CRM solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and establish rapport with decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and proactive in pursuing new business opportunities.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce) to manage sales pipelines.
- Comfortable working remotely with a results-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus - strong preference for candidates knowing Spanish or Portuguese.
- This position is hybrid, with on-site work several days a week. Candidate must be EU national willing to relocate to Malta or holder of an active work permit in Malta.
