About the Company
Forsvarsmateriell (FMA) / Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA) is an agency directly subordinate to the Norwegian Ministry of Defence. Their main task is to procure, manage and retire military materiel for the Norwegian Armed Forces and other agencies in the defence sector.
NDMA is the Department of Defence’s commercial and technical designated procurement and divestment authority. NDMA plans for the future and establishes projects to meet the needs of military defence strategies as well as other defence agencies. NDMA formulates the necessary regulatory framework, certifies, authorises and controls technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
The consultant is expected to engage in Forsvarsmateriell’s (Defense Materiel Agency) mission, needs, and challenges. The consultant should be proactive in the establishment, initiation, execution, and follow-up of disposal projects. The cosnultant must prepare and present required documentation related to NH90 equipment. The consultant is expected to complete assigned tasks to ensure that disposal is carried out in the most advantageous way for the state.
Qualifications
- The consultant must have security clearance at the level of RESTRICTED/NATO RESTRICTED at the start of the assignment.
- The consultant must have personnel management and leadership experience for at least 3 years.
- The consultant must have extensive knowledge of NH90 helicopters and the planning and operation of aircraft. This includes at least 3 years of work experience as a technician, inspector, or planner.
- The consultant must be fluent in Norwegian, both orally and in writing, due to security considerations and work tools.
- The consultant must start no later than June 23, 2025.
- The consultant should be able to start as early as possible after contract signing.
- The consultant should be proficient in English for work purposes due to security considerations and available documentation.
- The consultant should have prior experience in planning aircraft maintenance in the defense sector. This requirement will be particularly emphasized.
- The consultant should have logistics experience in the defense sector.
- The consultant should have knowledge of the EMAR regulations. This requirement will be particularly emphasized.
- The consultant should have knowledge of EASA regulations.
What the Company Offers
The consultant will be organizationally placed within Forsvarsmateriell, Project and Disposal. The consultant will report directly to the NH90 project manager. NDMA will provide a workplace with the necessary equipment. The work location will be Bardufoss Air Station.
Travel related to the consultant’s tasks should be expected, primarily to military bases in Norway.
The assignment should commence as soon as possible but no later than June 23, 2025.

Duration of the Assignment:
The assignment will continue until the client’s projects are completed or the need for the consultant’s services ceases.
The contract is valid for 2 years from the signing date. The contract includes an option for the client to extend it twice, each for one additional year (1+1). The option is automatically exercised unless the client states otherwise.
The maximum duration of the contract is 4 years.
